The art of relaxation has been lost upon many of us through our daily hectic lives. Luckily there is an industry that is around solely to help us remember that relaxation is key. Spas date all the way back to the 19th century.  It was said that the water in the ancient European towns had healing powers. Upon hearing this, travelers from all over the world would journey to these towns to “take the water”.

The modern spa has now descended from these practices of bathing in hot springs and mineral waters. In ancient times, this was a luxury that only the wealthy could afford. Thankfully as centuries have passed, spa prices have dropped. For many, spas are still a luxurious treat.  West Michigan is lucky enough to be home to some incredible day spas and we encourage you to give yourself a day off from all the stresses of life and be pampered at one of these incredible places of relaxation.

Whether you live in West Michigan or will be visiting with us in the future, we recommend you stop in and indulge yourself at one of these points of relaxation:
