Field Trip!

Yes, they're spelling WMTA in the photo above. I think Cheri's fringe adds a certain je ne sais pas to it... Someone wisely decided that the staff of WMTA was in need of a field trip, so we headed to Grand Rapids' Van Andel Arena for a Griffins hockey game this afternoon. There were hot dogs, cheering, and thousands of students enjoying the antics of Griff the mascot. A man in the row in front of us even popped the question to his girlfriend! (She said yes!) Unfortunately, GR lost after a shoot out, but it was a lovely outing nonetheless.

What's even more exciting, you ask? Tomorrow morning, Kelly and I pack up the WMTA mobile and head out for a two day road trip to Traverse City. Along the way, we'll be visiting eleven wonderful West Michigan destinations and (this is when you'll get excited) gathering a surplus of awesome giveaways for the rest of the year. 

I love my job :)
