Hudsonville Celebrates 21 Years of Holiday Spirit at their Holiday Parade on November 22

The City of Hudsonville & the Hudsonville Area Chamber of Commerce are excited to present the 21st Annual Hudsonville Holiday Parade on November 22 at 10am.

The parade route runs along 32nd Ave from Highland Drive at the Pinnacle Center to Central Boulevard. The parade ends at the Hudsonville Fire station on Central Blvd., but the fun doesn’t end there. To wrap up the day, parade spectators and participants are encouraged to enjoy hot beverages, snacks, and fun activities like crafts and games, immediately following the parade at the Firehouse. Kids can get their picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus by Paradise Entertainment and see Santa’s Reindeer!

The parade will include entries such as bands, marching units, horse drawn wagons, and floats. Parade spectators should watch for the Jensen Jewelers entry as they will again be hiding a gift certificate for their $500 Gem Giveaway in one of the chocolate bars they are handing out.

“We are excited to celebrate the 21st year of this holiday tradition,” stated Michelle Fare, the Executive Director of the Hudsonville Area Chamber of Commerce. “It’s fun to watch the community come together to celebrate the holiday season.”

First through fourth graders had the opportunity to participate in a coloring contest, with the winning entries displayed at City Hall. The winning artists will be invited to ride on the holiday trolley and will receive a fun prize pack from Keegstras Dollar Store.

All floats participating in the parade will be part of a judge’s favorite contest. Entries will be judged by local art experts and the winner will be accompanied by the “judge’s favorite” banner. Also they will be awarded the traveling trophy for a year.

Anyone who is interested in participating in the parade should contact Michelle Fare at mfare@hudsonville.org or call 669-0200.
