Actor Tony Moran at the Niles Haunted House

The +Niles Haunted House Scream Park hosted the actor Tony Moran for an exclusive engagement on Friday and Saturday nights, September 19 and 20. His fans enjoyed meeting him and getting autographs.

Moran portrayed Michael Myers, the psychotic killer in John Carpenter’s movie Halloween, defining the role for this long-running horror film series.

First in line to meet him was Sarah Brittin of Pizza Transit in Niles, who not only provided pizza for Tony on Friday night, but for the volunteers as well. “This is my first time getting to serve our pizza to a celebrity, and I am a huge horror movie fan,” said Britton. “When I saw Tony was coming to town I thought it was a great chance to combine my passion for pizza with a horror legend.”

The Park saw record attendance for a September evening and the midway was very busy because of Moran’s visit. Some patrons waited up to two hours to meet him and get his autograph. Moran was pleasantly surprised by all the interest in his work and, in fact, had to order more copies of his picture to be autographed since Friday night was so busy.

The Park is open weekends through November 1st. It is located on Mayflower Road in Niles, Michigan. It is also open for Black Out! on Saturday, November 8th from 7 p.m. to 11 pm. The Park easily is accessed by taking Exit 5 (Niles-Buchanan Road) from the US 31 Expressway.
